Pass and Smash is a great game for helping your students learn and practice new words. Steve is using “Pass and Smash” to teach all the words in ELF Learning's Phonic Reader Story # 3.

Playing is simple, introduce some vocabulary cards, throw them on the floor, set a timer and start smashing. By the time the game has ended, every student should know most of the words covered in the story.

When the game is overall you have to do is get your students to open their readers and to their surprise “ta-da” they will already know how to read the story.
